This installation covers Speed-Queen/Huebsch washers with Mechanical controls that have a digital coin board.

• Reader
• Cable harness
• High Voltage sensor (this tells the card reader that the machine is busy)

1. Before proceeding, you should assign numbers to each of the machines in the laundry room/building. It is highly recommended that you place number labels on each washer and dryer machine.
   
   
2. Set the machine type and number using the DIP switch on the MCU circuit board:
   See DIP switch settings page to understand how to configure DIP switch positions to set the machine type (washer or dryer) and number. Note that MCUs may already come from Mitech configured with the appropriate DIP switch settings. Proceed with installing the MCU on the corresponding machine type and number.
   
   
3. Turn machine power OFF!
   
   
4. Locate the power board and the existing 3-pin connector (with all red wires) connecting to it. Note the position of pin 1 - it is the one with a small arrow marker on the connector.
   
   
5. Disconnect this 3-pin connector from the header and remove the coin drop
   
   
6. Connect the 3-pin connector from the supplied cable harness to the header. The white wire is pin 1.
   
   
   
7. Splice the two wires from the HV sensor to wires coming from Pin2 and Pin3 onto the J1 connector on the power board. Pin2 and Pin3 are interchangeable
   
   
   
8. Connect the other end of the HV sensor the the main cable harness
   
   
9. Use the mounting plate to secure the card reader to the machine
   
   
10. Connect the 6-pin connector from the cable harness to the card reader
    
    
11. Switch machine power On
