This installation note covers Quantum Touch controls.

1. Turn machine power OFF!
   
   
2. Before proceeding, you should assign numbers to each of the machines in the laundry room/building.
   
   
3. Set the machine type and number using the DIP switch on the back of the card reader:

4. Mount the reader and connect cable harness to the machine control (signal connector and 2-pin power connector to the 24Vac transformer plug)
5. Secure the card reader to the machine
6. Power on the machine
7. Set the machine for serial communication (Card-Mode) using the touch screen on the machine:
   

Turn on the Card Reader and go down until you see Serial Payment System:

NOTE: for dryers, you may need to use the Alliance PC software and the IR reader to enable Serial on the machine. I - Activate the reader the the Activation card

Unlike for non-Touch models, vend pricing for touch models is set through the machine or Alliance network software.
